When you instruct Law Wise Solicitors, your case will be handled by a qualified solicitor or experienced legal representative, ensuring professional and efficient service. Every matter is supervised by a senior Partner with a minimum of 8 years’ post-qualification experience, providing you with trusted expert legal advice in the UK.

Disbursements (Third-Party Costs)

Disbursements are additional costs paid to third parties on your behalf. These may include:

Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT)
Land Registry fees
Management company fees (for leasehold properties)

All disbursement costs will be clearly explained at the start of your case and will vary depending on the property value and local authority requirements.

Referral Fees

In some cases, Law Wise Solicitors may pay a referral fee to a third party. This is covered within our own fees and will not increase the cost to you.

We are fully transparent and will inform you if a referral arrangement applies to your case.

Complaints Procedure

At Law Wise Solicitors, we are committed to providing high-quality legal services in London. If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, we encourage you to contact us immediately so we can resolve the issue promptly.

Our Complaints Manager, Arshad Aulia Hussain, will handle your concerns professionally and confidentially. You can initially speak with the person managing your case, or request a formal review if needed.

Making a complaint will not affect how your case is handled.

External Complaints & Legal Ombudsman

If we are unable to resolve your complaint, you may contact the Legal Ombudsman, who will independently review your case.

You must refer your complaint:

Within 6 months of receiving our final response
Within 6 years of the issue occurring, or
Within 3 years of becoming aware of the issue

You may also raise concerns with the Solicitors Regulation Authority if your complaint relates to professional misconduct, such as dishonesty or unfair treatment.
