The UK Home Office has announced a new set of immigration and nationality fee increases, which will come into effect on 8 April 2026.
These changes follow the previous increases introduced in April 2025 and continue the upward trend in UK immigration costs. Applicants and sponsors should take note of the revised fees and consider early applications where possible. Below are some of the most notable changes.
Key Fee Changes
Visitor Visa (Standard – up to 6 months)
£127 → £135 (+£8)
Naturalisation as a British Citizen
Application fee: £1,605 → £1,709 (+£104)
Total including ceremony: £1,839
Skilled Worker Visa
Inside the UK
Up to 3 years: £885 → £943 (+£58)
Over 3 years: £1,751 → £1,865 (+£114)
Outside the UK (Entry Clearance)
Up to 3 years: £769 → £819 (+£50)
Over 3 years: £1,519 → £1,618 (+£99)
Family Visa (Spouse / Partner – Entry Clearance)
£1,938 → £2,068 (+£130)
Settlement (Indefinite Leave to Remain)
£3,029 → £3,226 (+£197)
Graduate Route
£880 → £937 (+£57)
Sponsor Licence Fees
Large sponsor: £1,579 → £1,682 (+£103)
Small sponsor: £574 → £611 (+£37)
No Change to Priority Services
Priority and Super Priority service fees remain unchanged at this stage.
